*Dr Kenny Madison, psychiatrist and psychoanalysis specialist, defends his speciality’s merits against any sceptical attacks on its origins, relevance and efficiency. As far as he’s concerned he deserves his reputation... yet he hides a trade secret: that he can literally see his patients’ dreams, and have a direct look at their secrets, desires and faults, and if he so decides, to act on them. He could cure them at a whim, but... at the same time, Bekhter gets sustenance from these dreams, and, should the patients recover too quickly, the psychiatrist would lose income.
So instead he fuels their neurosis, feeds from their ever so deranged dreams, until he ends sucking them all dry.
