The little girl’s tests came back with a suggestion of cancer markers: into the scan she goes! If there’s a tumour he needs to know its size, position, edges’s aspcet etc before deciding if a biopsy is feasible, to do so. And yes they’ll probably need some histology here.
He didn’t expect the teratoma, and this one is the worst, freakiest osseous formation ever seen in this hospital. She shouldn’t be alive with such growths all around her head and neck.
And… with their shape, number and size, how come no-one felt it in a palpation exam? It should have been so obvious and yet..?
