It’s not a bad job, all in all. This retro looking joint’s going for a familial dinner feel but everything is frozen, canned, laden with preservatives. The uniform not worse than any other else, the background music ok, the customers rather nice.
Maybe she could do better but it's ok with her. For now.
Only... that music? She's used to it, but she can’t get it out of her head and sometimes she longs for anything else really. Maybe, oh, a modern singer? Like one of these starlets covered in sequins and a peppier voice? Anything but old crooners dead before she was even born...
