Here he is, facing the ER’s sliding doors. Several times he had to pass them and doesn’t think much of it—life accidents as a teen, a Roitelet fighting back; nothing lasting. His only persistent bad memory comes from that one time they stayed in front without going in, that awful night he called out to Gobniu then Raghan and freed all of them, and Rizel… when Dave wouldn’t believe him and wanted to have him institutionalized. He’s not going to let that sour him forever but he still grumbles a bit inwardly, not wanting to think back on that. No time for it.
He navigates the place, asks a few questions, avoids others.
Siri’s there, waiting for help. She’s not going to die, no... worse, actually. Whatever the doctors think of her case, and her new caregiver doesn’t seem to know what’s really wrong with her; he’s the only one to know what’s at hand. From what he just gathered, her defences are lowering and Chorum might just awaken.
He needs to act fast, very fast, if he wants to prevent him, to buy themselves just a bit longer. He did his best, he hopes he’s still on time...
