Izumi Harnet was once an alchemy prodigy. Her principles turned her away from the State Program she perceived as unfair and rotten. Anyway she was so good already, she intuited alchemy so easily she didn’t imagine what researches she might want to do. She’d envisioned a life in which she helped everyone around her, living with the flow. Meeting Sieg, falling in love, getting married, was all part of the way the world spun.
Then her dreams came crashing down. Baby. Sterile. No hope.
She shut down. Centered back on herself. Her couple.
Kept helping, yes. But flashy displays were over.
