Prompt#23.02, "always" forfffc - I've thought long and hard about th prompt, all the ideas I would get were actually more "forever" than "always" so instead I went with... a brand name--sorry

Tomie agrees to meet Richard at the mall because a little girl needs pants and he’s rubbish a girl stuff.
She buys the girl a pretty dress, she bonds with the girl, they escape a hostage situation with the girl. And then she goes back for the pants Siri asked for in the first place because yes the dress is pretty and suits her and she likes it but there’ll be times when her legs are cold and need to be covered. Then Tomie decides to make another stop on the way back and buys the girl a pack of pads:
"She you’re twelve and growing and your hips are suddenly a tad larger? Maybe your dad thought of that before he died and maybe not yet and I’m sure Richard won’t think of it. It can happen next month, it can happen next year: be prepared and don’t worry. Oh, and give me a call if you need to?"
"Yeah. Thanks. For… for everything."
