tick, tick, tick
It marks her speech, her life. While she listens, she taps the pointy tips of ther shiny fingers on the first available flat surface.
click, click, click

That night at the opera? She likes the mathematical purity of music, knows the importance of mingling, but what she appreciates really is the the soft whirring of Piltover’s well oiled cogs. The city is a machine, an instrument that makes business flow.

(Does the ticking get on her interlocutors’ nerves? Her smile only widens.)

I knew you would come up with something amazing for this prompt! :D And you did, like, wow, I think this is my favorite story so far? Because now THIS is a minor character, and you fleshed her out so well in just a few words! ♡ I love that she enjoys these sounds not just because it's 'her thing' but also because it annoys people. xD

Honestly I had no idea that I could do that! At some point I lined up the characters, the prompts, paired off the most obvious and was like, OK, what can I do with the few remaining ones? how do they fit? how metaphorical do I have to go from the prompts to fit a characters? OK here goes nothing!
