Elora took pity on the disgraced princess and followed her in exile. She’s pointedly not a babysitter—Mel’s old enough not to need a nurse, not even a chaperone, but she could use a confidante.
She works as a housekeeper and a personal secretary, she keeps unsolicited suitors away, she has to deal with the likes of Amara—but she used to deal with Ambessa, Warlord of Noxus, head of the Medarda clan and mother to Mel, before: nobody else can be as demanding.
And she’s witnessed Mel deal with Ambessa’s silence since: indifference is so much worse than desapprobation.
