Conflict between Humans and Elves dates from the very beginning. Started in fear and violent action.
For centuries it’s gone back and forth from outright war to what they think as harmless pranks--sometimes much more harmful than intended. Human boys who killed two elves when they thought they would only scare them away; elves that fueled their demon reputation by scaring humans far beyond tricks...
Most of the time they’ll stick to warding eachother off their territory, but once in a while, bloodlust, fear, hunger when available prey runs scarce, the need to prove oneself… sparks another killing spree.
